How are you getting 27-28mpg?

I’ve only ever had one brush with that kind of mileage in 18 years of wagonerring - a rainy night putting along at 60-65 mph. At my usual long hwy stints of ~ 75mph I’m currently getting ~ 24 mpg. Avg around town and a little hwy is ~ 19 mpg.
Mild tune, stock turbo, newer motor 50k miles, California gas.

New to me 1999 Impreza GT Turbo wagon. Only 48,500 miles on the clock. Will be replacing the rims shortly with OEM Subaru ones of the same period.

I like it!

I own 2x 03 Aspen white wagons and I may consider doing a 04/05 front and rear bumper/facial change after seeing yours.

Sedan rear panels would make that the perfect 2004-2005 Wagon

I totally agree. I love the older Subaru's.

My wife daily's an 02 WRX Wagon around the city (274k km), I periodically daily my substantially modified 2007 Forester XT Limited (142k km), and over this winter I'm finishing up my purpose build on my 2004 WRX Wagon/JDM STi swap (143k km), for track use.

Have to match !

Either all Wagon panels or all sedan panels as anything else looks odd

Yeah, exactly my point! Which I don't think you got, right from my first reply.

My whole point was why this... "Sedan rear panels would make that the perfect 2004-2005 Wagon"

...when he 'does not' have the sedan fenders.

So, first you said "Sedan rear panels", then you went on to disregard my question and state "Have to match ! Either all Wagon panels or all sedan panels as anything else looks odd"

Anyway, it's clear you're either screwing around or are completely confused by a simple question and didn't understand anything I asked.

It's my twin! Glad to see another sonic yellow wagon without painted sideskirts lol. Our tint is even the same. Sleeper life.

If my car ever develops rear cancer, it's getting rear skins and a rear sedan bumper. Nose will follow suit with sedan fenders and bumper. Trust me I'd love to do it now but I feel it's kind of a shame to cut Into a clean car right now haha
