Suby_dude has great service, and super FAST e-mail respond. Does he sit on front of his computer the whole time? Good customer service that's for sure. Great price too on products.
BUT here my beef with him. Since I live in Canada, I got charged an extra $10 bux for shipping when, the item is $99 shipping included. I saw the package and the mail sticker says $2.85 =( Sorry to say but I feel that I got pretty hose with shipping to Canada, considering is not even UPS/FEDEX for $10 but USPS! On the lighter note he did put it as gift so I don't have to pay duty on it. I just feel that I really rip off on shipping

I have to agree. I got my STi grill and hoodscoop from Suby Dude, and I must say it was a very smooth transaction. Fast shipping and virtually instant email responses. Too bad I don't have a digital camera, or I'd post pics.

I don't think devices exist that can measure how fast Suby Dude responds to emails and ships orders! Seriously...I ordered an STi front grille the other day, and I thought I would write him and see if he had a tracking number for me. But then a few minutes before I was going to send him an email, our mailman came in with my grille!

Great prices, very communicative, and shipping is almost too fast to be believable. Thumbs WAY up.

Props to http://www.subydude.com ... I recently ordered the JDM badging for the back of my WRX ... shipped pronto even though SEMA was smack dab in the middle of things ... packaged properly to ensure it would arrive safe and sound. Thank you, Suby Dude!

Perhaps I am from the old school of professionalism, but the Subydude web page is far from professional. I was thinking about buying things since his prices are very reasonable and many here say that his service is great. However, after reading some of, what I assume to be, his personal comments under "Project Suby" I changed my mind. I was thinking about leaving some quotes from the page in this thread but then realized that i-clubs rules (with which I agree) on cursing would be broken and I would be in time-out.

I am not going to give my money to a vendor whos web page uses language that my children would get in trouble for using.

STLwrx no need to be rude.

SubyDude is indeed a very helpful vendor. He even offered to price match some wheels for me, but ended up going local to save on shipping. I did order the Replacement Rota Caps from him, and i hope they get here soon.

Unfortunately I am not surprised to see this type of response. It saddens me that some cannot comprehend and focus only upon the points being made. The point was not whether or not his customer service was appreciated. The point was about the offensive language on the web site through which one orders the products he sells.

I hate to be the one giving you this wake-up call, but many consumers will not purchase products by retailers which they find offensive; and if you HONESTLY are not aware that such language is offensive to most adults you must be living in a cave. From the point of view of a vendor/retailer, why would I use language which is obviously offensive to many and will in the end cost me $x in revenue? Why? For example, look at how some vendors receive negative criticism simply because they were rude and "short" to customers. Kindness and courtesy does not cost the vendor a nickel, yet it is normally a strong factor in repeat business. Offensive language is simple the opposite of this simple principle. If I am in business to make a profit, why would I practice things which could only hurt my profitability?

Does Subydude have good prices? Yes. Does Subydude have good customer service? My guess is yes. Will Subydude's offensive language on his web site keep me and others from purchasing his products? Yes.

Some of you guys would really not buy products from subydude because of the way he "speaks" on his website even if you KNOW he has good prices and customer service? lol Some people are waaay too sensitive. Sometimes, I think living in a cave would preferable as I wouldnt have to deal with the paranoia, close-mindedness and stuffy attitudes of so many people. I would buy from subydude anytime.

i'm sorry you feel that way.

some people will get it... and some people will not... and i understand that.

its all in fun. if it offended you.. sorry... the new civics offend me to... but hey! to each his own.

Point well taken MrSwede. Don't shop with him then.

It is his business to run the way he likes. While he isn't likely to be a member of your local Rotary, he seems to get the job done for most of the folks on this board and enjoy himself while doing it.

Is it possible that you aren't his target market?

no offense suby_dude, like i said before, i know this is a busy time of year, and you do have the best prices around...but if i was a vendor, and i messed up a customers order, i wouldnt have sent his product out ups ground...i would have at least sprung the few extra dollars for 3 day or something to that nature!
i take total responsibility for this...

i have 40 sti grills come in... w/ backorder of about 20 grills.. yours was mistakenly left out.

my bad.... just goes to show... w/ all the crap i talk... i'm not piofect!

Kudos to Suby Dude! Even though I have not bought anything from him YET, he did promptly reply to e-mail. By the way I don't like all the profanity in Rap, but I still appreciate the art form. As they say don't beat a dead horse.

hi,
i just wanted to say that i understand your point. however, there are a lot of ways people conduct business. as i'm sure you know by now, subydude is a cool guy who has some connections and he hooks the rest of us up with great prices and even better service. just by looking at his website you can see that he is doing what he does with great fun and not just to make money no mattar what like other vendors. i for one think that it is great that a vendor can be cool and relaxed and still be much better than all the other vendors who have a "professional" websites.

WRX SEDAN... PM ME!

Thumbs up SubyDude earns a few more Kudos!!

Ok I was looking for some 18" Rota Battle Wheels in Bronze so I emailed about 6 vendors...

Well I got back 2 emails, one from Vendor X who stated they couldn't help me with what I wanted and one from SubyDude!! Well here is how it went down... Subydude answered within minutes, GREAT response time!! Since then I have sent and received multiple emails from him and all went VERY smoothly. His Emails were VERY fast, and VERY helpful!

On top of this he then hooked me up with an amazing price on the battles in the correct size/color and they arrived only days after the order was placed!! TOP NOTCH Service for sure!!

I will say this, SubyDude will be collecting A LOT more money from me before my WRX is complete!!

Thanks Subydude!!
