Default Hello Subaru my old friend...

Ok so yes it's been a while for sure but I always look back and can't stop thinking of the good times and all the waves I used to get in the old GC8.

The stack of old GC8 parts doesn't help either ...

I always envisioned having a two subie household (his and hers) and I am happy to say that it may come true pretty soon.

We are working on an Ascent and soon there after, a STi.

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Hello everyone!

Things are good. Lots different. Glad to hear you are doing well. Cool to see the OGs in the scene here posting!

Still in a Suby, but not a particularly fun one...

Same here. Still looking for a GC8 for fun but settled on the Ascent for now.

Hell even the Forester XT looks fun for a daily.

FXT's are fun daily's with a couple of impreza/sti parts. Handling and a little boost can cure a little commuter monotony. We have a FXT & STI, though I don't drive my STI much anymore since I sit in stop & go traffic for the most part. I miss my swapped gm6 though and wish I would have just kept it.

I had a FXT. When they still made manual. Now I probably wouldn't own one.

I've pretty much had darn near every car Subaru made in the 2000s.

Hey now, some of us are definitely lucky enough to have a GC8. Lol. Mine is silver even.

Just starting to get into modifying and prepping for mods. If you don't mind and you're looking to lighten up that pile of parts, I'll reach out to you through PM about some.

On the topic of what you're talking about though; welcome! My wife and I recently went through the buying process on a new Subaru and we were very much considering the Ascent. I loved it! It's awesome. She felt it was too big for her (she's 4'11" and petite), so we opted for the Outback instead. After that, I was allowed to buy a new car, and I considered the new STI, but opted to import a GC8 instead. I'm still on the fence about whether I should have gone for the STI.
