Bought some gauges from Chris last couple of weeks ago. Have to say it was a very pleasant experience. Great communication to begin with, he gave me a fantastic price, even beating a local vendor here(I'm in Norcal, *hint*)

Chris also arranged to drop-ship straight from his distributor on the West Coast, and saved me some shipping time too.

Awesome vendor, I would do business with them again.

Chris, thanks again for your help with my transaction.

To anyone thinking of buying from CVR Motorsports, Chris is a stand-up guy that really cares about his customers and does everything he can to make sure things go smoothly.

Thanks again.

cant say i've ever had a problem with them. kevin and chris have always been more than helpful. have you gotten ahold of kevin or chris and asked them about this?

this is also the completely wrong section for this too.
i'll still be buying from them though.

I got some struts from them with no problem. Also, received good customer service. Give them a chance to work it out before blasting them.

Default Well,

first of all, lay off the caps. Second, what part of the name of this forum don't you understand? Third, give the vendor the chance to remedy the situation before you blast them publicly. I'll spare you the n00b sarcasm but your post is inappropriate.

Try working with them. I have purchased many things from Chris and I never had a problem and I am in England! Just remember the time of the year.. everything slows down. I would be VERY surprised if Chris shafted anyone.
IF I remember correctly, my HELIX TMIC had a plate welded on with the HELIX name and logo... I think...? Let me see if I can did up a pic.

Only pic I could find cause this was from when they first came out and I have since went FMIC.. The Helix logo was welded on a plate just above the hose clamp on the blue section of hose (TMIC to turbo).

i purchased an invidia g200 and v3 catted dp from them a month or two ago. when they accidently sent the non-catted dp they were very helpful about getting me the correct dp. they paid to have ups ship the non-catted dp back to them.

Default wrong forums for this...

You really need to post this type of thing in the correct forum... namely, the vendor reviews forum.

That being said, I just recently bought a UTEC from CVR, and Chris was nothing but helpful. Very responsive to emails. I would definitely do business with'em again. If you have a problem with a vendor, you really need to deal with the vendor to get the issue resolved.

Everyone who knows us, knows we would NEVER stand to gain, or would ever think of pulling something like this. You posted all this before you ever approached me about it. I get a call from a customer about this (who was laughing) and saw your email, which you sent AFTER you posted.

Now, I ask that you post pictures of the item, its original packaging and the ups label on the box for us all to see. The first thing youll notice is where it came from, after which you should choose your words a bit more carefully. This was sent from Helix themselves, since we did not have any left by that time. Yes, I personally admit to screwing up and delivering your tracking very late. The proximity to thanksgiving led to your order not being processed on time, and I solely take the blame since I allowed it to slip through the cracks. However your claims are totally seperate.

If you were somehow sent the incorrect item, ie what you did NOT order, you can count on the situation being rectified immediately. This is what we are known for, and we would NEVER tarnish our hard built reputation over an intercooler, 10 cents or 5000, its just not worth it nor does it make sense. I can also say that if this is the case, it was simply a mistake on Helix's part, as I also believe they would never purposely do such a thing risking putting their name on the line.

Get me those pictures ASAP or post them for us, so we can get this resolved.

Post the pic of the Helix written in marker.. Gruppe-s, and CVR are both good places to work with.

[quote=DLBWRXR]well CVR sounds like a bunch of sound guysQUOTE]

they're probably the best vendors on this forum in my opinion. chris has followed my up on my order every so often and goes out of his way to find the best price and deals for me. and they're customer service has been very professional and immediate. i think maybe you should've resolved the problem first before posting such a harsh thread, even though i feel your anger. and also with the holidays being around the corner, things do get busy and hectic for vendors everywhere.

Default Duh,

Gruppe-S is a vendor. CVR may have drop-shipped the part from them. You do know what drop-shipped is right? Regardless, you are in the wrong forum. Deal with CVR and quit bashing them until you have given them the chance to rectify the situation. Please don't reply. This thread should die.

That is correct. We had a few on the way to us anyway, but given the fact that you waited too long for your order to arrive, I wouldnt have wanted to delay your order even longer by making you wait for them to arrive and reship, hence having it sent directly from them to avoid any more lost time. Again Ill say, it must be a mistake and you can count on it being rectified after we look into it and speak with them

Default I

honestly think posters like this deserve a timeout. I'm seeing more posts where someone accuses a vendor publicly and usually it's unfounded. If I made a post where the title was "DLBWRXR is a moron", it wouldn't matter if he was or not, the damage is done. Same here. The poster makes a very negative post and then a few posts later changes his tune. Very defamatory. Good thing I'm not a moderator.

WRONG FORUM!

anyway, i got a set of kyb agx's from CVR and not only was it the cheapest price anywhere, but the shipping was super fast. they were a great vendor. mistakes do happen but bashing a vendor cause of one mistake before giveing enough time to get the situation rectified is just not good.

Chris at CVR is a great vendor. i ordered front and rear brake pads but due to fitment problem with the H6 upgrade with 04 WRX pads not fitting. Chris allowed me to trade the correct pads I needed. Even though I had to pay the extra $12 for shipping I do not mind at all. Still waiting for the transit to go through but bump for CVR Motorsports.

Kinda funny...I had never heard of CVR Motorsports before this post, and now because of all the positive experiences, I am more likely to try them in the future.

I am, however, very interested to see this intercooler.

I bought my Magnaflow catback from Chris. I initially bought the resonated version but later found out that Magnaflow themselves didn't recommend it for the STI. This was not known by Chris either. He had no problem letting me return the exhaust in exchange for a non-resonated version, immediately shipped me a replacement, and was kind and courteous the entire step of the way. Just my 2 cents!
