I have a question of my own. I have a Stage 2 WRX along with pink injectors. I tuned them myself using Cobbs Stage 3 injector tables as a base line. I would like to have some pointer on how to tune part throttle accel. At certain loads and throttle input I seem to be running farely rich (~10.3) causing power loss. What AFR targets should I aim for at part throttle/loads? I assume it should be leaner then a WOT/peak boost? I'm trying to get a better powerband.

There isn't a set answer. The best way is to put your car on a dyno, make fueling changes and observe the gain/loss.

Do tuners generally lean out part throttle compared to WOT with Subaru? |

Most tune fairly linear from cruise into peak boost

I just finished up my e-tune with Ron, and I have to say the experience was top notch. I did a lot of research and sent quite a few emails in my search for a tuner, and the depth in which Ron explained his tuning philosophy and process cemented my decision to go with Phatbotti. In just under a week, with 9 complete revisions to get everything just right, my car is running like a scalded cat, and that's just a Stage 1 tune. After a few thousand more miles, the TGV deletes and GrimmSpeed J-pipe will be going on, and I'll be giving Ron another call to get my Stage 2 running perfectly too. I honestly can't say enough about the process and final product. Well done, sir, well done!...SC

Hi there,
Do you have any experience with Autometer wideband oxygen sensors? I was wondering how I can log the output if there is no plugin for it in Romraider. Thanks |

Sorry, I don't. I don't really tune Opensource cars anymore....I just use my dyno wideband so i never really have to worry about drivers or cables or any of the common problems with logging widebands |

I had the pleasure of seeing Ron's dyno last year, and it is absolutely amazing. I didn't get to hear how it sounded from inside the room, but it wasn't loud in the next room (lobby). He has a high quality camera system you can watch him tune your car on, while beautiful stripper's give you lapdances. Definitely the best dyno room ever, and he is one of the best tuners in the world.

Hi guys, I see you have a quite a bit of experience with Five-0 injectors, so I believe you can help me out. I'm running a set of 026M1200 injectors in my setup but I'm never satisfied with the warm cranking. Usually it takes 3-4 cranks before it starts when warm, but the cold cranking in the morning is always perfect.
I have reduced cranking IPW at 86F and above to as low as 2.10ms but was not enough to fix it. Do you guys have a particular latency you like to run on those injectors? |

E Tuned by Ron and I have nothing but outstanding and positive things to say about his work ethic and final product. Beat my Pro Tuner in every category. 5/5.

2018 WRX CVT. I'm curious to learn whether I can get crackles and pops with a tune? If so, would I additionally need a muffler delete? I have an STI SPT exhaust.
If so, would I be able to turn on and off of switch the tune at my discretion when I want the pops/crackles off/on? |
