Trans -- you can buy hardened gearsets or complete gearboxes from Cobb Tuning. Several people have bought JE pistons in the stock 2.5 size (I believe 97mm) so they should have the profile for general use. I think the stock rods are fine with upgraded fasteners and more importantly, proper engine management to control detonation.

What did your pistons look like when the head gasket(s) was/were replaced?

ISR Performane also has the dog gears from BPM.They are not listed on the site yet.
We also have the pistons available from
BPM, J&E Pistons or BSpecusa.
The web site will be updated soon.

Another option you could use is to go to the Jun Stroker Kit. While it's expensive it should help solidify the motor and help you run more boost. If I recall correctly (don't have the catalog in front of me) it includes pistons, crank, cams, cam gears, rings, seals, and all other associated parts.

As for running 20lbs of boost on any of these set-ups? That's going to be something your just going to have to try.
