Changing oil, different readings!! bahhhhhhh
This might be stupid question, but here it comes. I been chaning oil on my RS for 2 years now, so I have experience. Usually I put 3.7 litres and after adding up bit by bit till FULL mark. But it takes too long, and also I get different readings all the time during that. Today i was doing that and ended up dumping whole 4 litres in there and it was just very little over NOTCH. Now, can I just drained it really good(30 min) and then put 4 litre(whole can)??? Will that work? That would save me so much time and hussle!! I also have Fumoto valve. Thanks guys!!!!!!

Just leave a little behind when you pour -- guess where 3.9 or 3.8 liters would be, then you'll be OK. I wouldn't go higher than the notch.

Yeah prefilled filter and all.. Just checked right now after driving car for a while. It's like 6mm over the notch. Don't know if it's ok. Next time Must put in 3.8 or 3.9 litres.

I don't think you have to that accurate. As long as you have proper lubrication (not too little and not too much), you should be fine.
