GTF off my lawn!

Default HHH part 'doo' (doo?) - Houston Happy Hour Every Thursday!

NOTE: At B&B, we used to get a reserved table next to the big TV on the bathrooms-side of the bar. This is no longer the case (and hasn't been for like most of a year).

New folks, or those who've not been in a while, you'll just have to find us. Sully is probably the easiest to spot, so long as he keeps his stark-white goatee. If that's missing, well, yer hozed... doh. Most of the time, someone is wearing a car-themed shirt, or a shirt with a sarcastic cartoon on it. We're probably one of those folks. Perhaps. Imagine the friends you'll make even if you don't find us!

For those new, this is to revisit our newly deceased HHH thread that was ongoing for 10+ years :tear:

This is the Happy Hour thread for Houston. We have an ongoing HH for the Houston area. It's every Thursday from ~7:30 until ???.

Our 2 rotating locations are Petrol Station and Bull and Bear. Both are great bars and provide great atmosphere. A bit of warning, if you are a mass consumption beer fan, Bull and Bear will be okay, but Petrol doesn't have Bud/Miller/Coors, only rotating Craft Beer Selection.

We enjoy hanging out and talking about cars and life. We have the cast of regulars, returning favorites, and new faces. Don't be intimidated to come out if you've never been, it's a good time!

Starting a new one b/c the old one was fat and bloated and apparently died of coronary 'enclogation' (it's a word now, damnit!) or some wackiness.

This week is probably Petrol, I think?.. I forget what the rotation schedule was.

I disagree. People that don't have the sense to use Google Maps probably wont fit in very well.

Budweiser doesn't make me jealous, even at free...

That said, I may have to make an appearance Saturday at this Bovine festival.

Shiner R&B owner should be there for the cooking mumbo jumbo. He should have good beer for us.

The tent i'll be at is all top shelf liquor...I doubt I'll touch anything below the quality of crown...def no Budweiser.

Personally, I do prefer a nice craft beer, but I'll take what I can get when it's free.
