and you are right, my chin is right at the top of the door, just had to set the mirrors right. Still makes me a little nervous for cars sitting in my blindspot but I'm sure I'll get used to that.

I am not that tall (5'11" mostly legs) but not going to lie seats would probably make your car a lot more comfortable for you. It did for me, no more banging my knees on everything.
Yeah. You control the car so much better and you have predictable peddle area where as before you had to lean forward a bit to be where you are now. Your reference points change but your knowledge of driving the car and gauging distance hasn't. As you get used to it you'll check more often to be sure but you'll get comfortable faster this way.

I have noticed a much better feel for what the car is doing and I'm not bracing myself in corners at all, I used to slide around in the stock seat so much. I don't think I have ever seen your seats or am not sure which ones they are do you have any pictures?

Thanks, I was actually just creeping your photo stream and saw them, I thought it was those seats but wasn't sure. They sure do look nice but are probably extremely hard to find. I am happy I found my SRD.

They are. I only know of this particular set of these in the US. the version I'Is are a solid color with just STI in white where I have an embroidered "STI Subaru technica international". It's not a patch. I've seen two sets of the version II's. i could be wrong though. I got there directly from Japan through a friend. These were optional "sports" seats in Japan when purchasing your car. They were pretty much new when I got them.
LOL. creep away

Dang, super JDM! I'd almost be afraid to have them in the car but if you have them why not use them.

What seats do you have now? From what I've seen, the driver seat height looks pretty low..

Looks like a pretty nice fit with the exception of the gap in the middle

I appreciate the compliment. It's been a while since my car was properly photographed. It'll be time soon.

I still haven't decided on which wheels to get. Not to mention tire size accommodations for those wheels. That's pretty much why I rarely post now. A lot of things going on in my personal life that's making hobbyist things take a bake seat for a while. It'll return soon.

A friend of mine's GF is taking a photography class and decided to take a couple of shots of my bug and my friends bug.

Be nice. She's a beginner with photography.

120K miles, this would be the second time I replaced coil packs. First time I replaced with used ones because I'm a cheap bastage. Exact same thing is happening now... running rich, and then a pattern of misfires from the same cylinder.

Spark plugs still have 30K miles left, injectors SHOULD be good, no vacuum leaks, MAF is clean and relatively new, so coil packs is the first step
