I really don't want to install turn signals again as the whole bumper and headlight must come out to swap

Check the wires and add some dielectric grease in the sockets. Helps with corrosion and keep sockets cool. Had plenty of ppl at work compassion afoot rms and seeing sockets corroded and or melted

For such a generic bulb like a turn signal, sylvania should be just fine.

My friend put the front seats of a 2000 Legacy outback in his 96 Impreza Outback and they bolted right in no prob. So I'd bet those seats will work but we have airbags and plugs all over so idk about that part.

Yeah when I test drove a new WRX last year it those seats.. They're really comfy. Better than they look anyways.. they kinda look like hard racing seats.

Welcome to the club. Any plans yet for your new suby?

Also has anyone sat in the BRZ seats? Probably one of the best oem seats Ive ever sat in! I am on the bigger side at 6' 215lbs but those seats fit me like a glove , just the right amount of side bolsters and enough padding to make it firm too.

I've sat in the JDM Toyota 86. The seats are small, but they HUG you so perfectly!

I want to sit in the USDM BRZ, but im thinking the seats are a bit bigger, since I sat in Both a USDM and JDM STI.. Seats were night and day different

Was this in Japan I assume? lol.
Just curious, did you notice any major differences with the Gt-86 vs the brz/frs?
Also, were the JDM versions of the sti seats a lot smaller?

Yup.

when i was in Japan, they had the BRZ on show room but they wouldn't let me go into it since someone had bought it already. Apparently the ones they got were already sold.

From looks, JDM-BRZ has a more aggressive styling (exterior) and better looking interor. JDM-86 was like a toyota styling but aggresive-ness in it (interior)

YES. ALOT smaller

US-STI feels like a couch. JDM-STI feels like someone from the back is literally hugging you tight and has a bit more support for legs and back IMO

Two of my wheel lug studs came off (1 on each of the front wheels) when I was trying to taking the wheels off today. I just got tires mounted about a month and a half ago at a shop and have not touched them until today. I am assuming they misthreaded the 2 lug nuts and just torqued them down with a gun. What should I do? I am going to call the shop tomorrow to see what they say, but if they don't take responsibility, where can I get the studs for a 10 impreza? Thanks.

Has anyone here swapped HVAC controls with wrx/sti ones? Or maybe I should say from analog to digital? Are the analog controls still connected with 1 plug? Looking to do this as it looks much better.

Edit:

Here's my controls:

Well actually the HVAC controls are screwed onto the bezel which runs all the way to the passenger air vent. The bezel is also screwed on. My question though is if the plugs are the same. If its just one plug which can be swapped out easily.. or if wiring is involved.

Aren't the STI controls the auto climate controls? I think that you would have to swap the HVAC system to the auto one in order to use those controls. Im pretty sure that the auto system has more to it Than just the switches. The software to control it might be part of the BIU that you would have get enabled too.

I think so. I would be content with the WRX ones also. Not positive if they are auto or not though.
