Exclamation Turbo MY02 was in Doylestown a few days ago

Well, I was at the Subie dealer in Doylestown yesterday and we were talking, and he was telling me that the Turbo was at the dealer. He says it was a black one and yes, it does look like a cross between and Neon and Porche 911. He likened it to the movie Cannonball Run, when two little Japanese guys were inside their car that was cluttered with gauges, shooting across roads. Unfortunately they wouldn't let him drive it. But there ya go, as it stands the Turbo DOES look like those pics

hmm, wasn't one of those japanese guys jackie chan, or am i mistaken?

well, i still say i'll believe it when i see it. there still could be differences between the japanese RA impreza and the one we end up getting here. maybe they're just bringing the japanese ones over to show around...

actually, that sounds like a waste of time and money. it's going to kill a lot of us off imprezas, but think of how many shopping mall moms will be running to get it? yay!

MY02...I said it before and I'll say it again:

Why is it that every time I see the MY02, I keep thinking "Hello Kitty"?

Wink

You're not mistaken that it was Jackie Chan, but he's Chinese.

Actually in one of the cannonball movies that car turns out to be a Starion/Conquest. If your dealer likened it to that car i think he may have an identity problem

Actually, Jackie Chan is Australian. He grew up in a chinese enclave. I forget in which city. Saw a Bio on him.

Wrong Retsyn, he was born and raised Chinese. He didn't move to Australia until he was 19 or 20 and had already failed in his attempt to be the next Bruce Lee. He moved in with his family and took a job in construction. He moved back to China a few years later and started the physical comedy kungfu that made him a hit over there-- took another 15 years for him to catch on in the US.

Doylestown is in Pennsylvania, near Philly, and about an hour from SOA headquarters.

They drove it there? (to the dealer)

And why not tell us about the things you can't see in any of the pictures, then? How are the seats? How many cupholders? ;p

Question

Maybe it's just me(most likely), but do I get the feeling that some of you aren't convinced that the MY02 was actually at the dealer?

Faraz... Did you say there was one at Becker Subaru? If so, I'm there! I'm only about 25 minutes from there.

Please advise... I'll grab my digital camera and go...

Girls'RS, Most likely if they're keeping it at SOA headquarters it's hidden. Don't worry, if it's out there, there will be lots of pictures!

I wasn't saying that I didn't believe, but I wondered why you didn't elaborate more on what you were able to see, how they acted, etc. Thanks for posting the sighting!
