downtown spokane, i forget the name of it but there's only 2 dealers here. I can grab the sales guy's name for you if you want? I called up last week and he gave me prices within 2 minutes and I put a deposit down on the WRX (they're only getting one of each)

I'm waiting currently for my series gray sti to hit the lot!! I've searched most of the local dealerships and finally found one! Deposit placed at the beginning of the month and now I wait!!!!

I tried to order through the dealership to be told that you couldn't order, and it was all by the luck of the draw which dealership gets them.

Ordered my first Subaru! 2019 WRX Sport CVT Dark Metallic Grey.

It's from Subaru Downtown in Toronto (great dealership and thanks to Eric for making it fun and easy).

I placed the order on 3-Oct and next day they found one enroute on a ship about to land in Vancouver. Should arrive in Toronto in about 4 weeks!

Super excited. I've wanted a WRX for years and eager to learn the joys of AWD in daily driving, autocross, and time attack. Coming from 6 VWs and happy to be switching to Subie.

Call SoA and ask if they can offer a loyalty coupon.. since it looks like you own a 2017 already.

About to sign for a 19 WRX Sport Tech (Canada - GTA). After visiting a few dealers, I negotiated a msrp of $34000 even, which I believe is just over $800 of the dealer cost according to unhaggle. I don't think I can do any better than this.

Only problem is the couple week wait for the vehicle to traverse the Pacific.

Coming from a 2012 WRX, I'm very excited.

EDIT: $800 above dealer cost, my bad!

I'm unsure of exact prices in canada but in the US $800 below invoice is dealer hold back and it would be difficult to get lower than than. I couldn't get below $800 even on a 2018 STi with 2019s on the lot.

The wait is hell. You see other wrx on the road and becoming increasingly impatient.

FYI, the price is 38460$ (including all fees, but before taxes).
You could consider 2000$ off as an excellent deal.

At 34000$ (a bit less than my 2018 Sport started at 34960$, but I got some goodies around ~1000-1200$ in value with it, which it was an excellent deal) he should forget the breakin period for a while and leave the dealership like he has steal it!

It's actually $800 above dealer cost, my mistake. I believe it to be a good deal, still.

Anyone have the price or part number for the OEM alacantra arm rest for the STi? I have the arm rest extension and I want to go JDM with it. I also really dislike the plastic on it.

Test drove a 19 WRX Premium 6MT Saturday and it handled pretty well, was comfortable, and I liked the cabin. The engine was QUIET, and transmission seemed a bit tricky compared to my 05 OBXT. I walked away feeling I should have liked it more. Unsure if I want to order one now.

Dealership informed me that we've got the VIN and ETA is next week!

Financing has been secured too at 3.49%!

I can't wait! Just to tide me over, I got a WRX keyring from Amazon

Mud flaps may have to wait but yeah bushing & shift stop would be a good idea to get now.

When did you order your car?
I was told the wait would be two months and I was like no problem! I’m literally ripping my hair out and it’s only been two weeks.

September 24. And I know exactly what you mean. I had to bury myself in other things for a while to keep from going nuts. Till I was informed last week that the car would be here this week!

Dealership called today. The WRX is there! We're going tomorrow afternoon to get it (the dealership I ordered from is NOT local. It's 2.5hrs away in eastern NJ). They've installed the winter wheel/tire package and ordered accessories are also installed. It's ready for me to drive!

I'm keeping myself from going nuts by binge watching Initial D (not because I think it's realistic but just b/c it's fun and emphasizes the fun of driving).

I know I will. I test drove the newest gen about half a dozen times in as many months, and this is my 6th subaru.

Subies in order of acquisition:

*05 Forester 2.5 XS w/ 4EAT (white) (bought new, provided by parents as a reliable college vehicle) - Spring 05. Traded in.

*08 WRX base (WRB) - first car I actually bought. March 09. Traded in.

*13 WRX STI base (ISM) - first bad financial car decision. March 13. Traded in underwater.

*14 BRZ Limited (CBS) - best damn Subaru purchase ever. November 2013. Totaled in March 18 (not by me). RIP beloved coupe of DD fun (the car I used to take my wife and I everywhere when we were dating. It even got us through the Sedona blizzard of 2015 on our honeymoon.... With stock hp primacy summers... SAFELY)

*12 Outback 2.5i Limited CVT (ISM) - bought with cash used at 147k miles as family car. Replaced wife's '10 Malibu - July 18. Currently owned.

And now,
*19 WRX Limited 6MT unoptioned (WRB) - first car I've ordered instead of buying off the lot. Replacing beloved BRZ because I'm not allowed to buy another 2dr now that we have kids. Otherwise I'd be back into a BRZ in a heartbeat.

So, yeah, I know I'm going to love it. But thanks for the encouragement

I'd like to reach out to fellow WRX owners and offer a hand if you are interested in ordering a new Subaru. I now sell for the #1 Subaru dealer in the nation, Van Bortel Subaru. I'm a WRX owner and Subaru enthusiast. I'd love to help! Feel free to send me a PM or email me directly at [email protected].

Weather was absolutely crummy today, so I no good outside pics in daylight were taken, and we didn't get there till after the sun went down (before 5PM). However, this was the ODO

The 3hr drive home was tiring on my back in ways the drive up in the Outback wasn't, but I bet once the leather seating breaks in, it'll be very comfy. The car is insanely quick and the SRH LED headlights are awesome!

I was in it for 3 hours straight. My back was tired out, and that was with lumbar support maxed out. I may need to keep playing with the seat adjustments to find the best position.

I also got the Limited, so the leather seating may just need breaking in.

Tomorrow I'm going to follow method 1 from here: https://m.wikihow.com/Adjust-Seating-to-the-Proper-Position-While-Driving and reset my seat with that method. That will probably help a lot.

Mine had 11 miles on it! That first 1000 miles takes forever!
