Default 2010 WRX swap into a GD series Subaru

Hello guys,

I am back and it has been a long time!

I got the Subaru bug again.

I found my self with a 2010 WRX sedan that has a built close decked motor,
14 mm head-studs with Cosworth heads. PPG 5 speed gearbox. Suspension upgrades. AP brakes you name it has it. Running on stock maf ecu. Flex fuel E85

I have a few questions.

I would want to know how hard or what would be required for me to swap the engine into a say 2005 2L STI or 2006-2007 2.5L STi

I am not a big fan of the 2010 plain shape car. Also instead of me spending fresh money on a new build I rather buy a ready car save money and do a swap if that makes sense.

Regarding the PPG 5 speed I don't know if I would keep that i might just use the standard STi 6 speed box.

I am trying to work out if the 2010 WRX has AVCS solenoids. I am 99% they do. Will everything just bolt into the GD car. Harness etc.

Any tips or recommendation will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
