Removing tires from one set and re-installing onto another
My question is, if I take some low mileage tires off my stock wheels and put them onto my new SSR's of the same diameter.
Since the bead has been set when they were installed new on the stock wheels, will it be a safety issue to try to pry off the bead and install them onto another. The installation will be done professionally at a tire shop of course, but will the fact that the beads been broken and reapplied be a safety concern? |

Shouldn't be. I've swapped tires many times and never had a problem. Now if this was the 10th time the tires have been swapped, I'd be concerned.

Yeah as long as you don't tear the bead when you're trying to take the tires off. It's fairly easy to do if you're not paying attention. (ask me how I know ) Even if the rubber gets a little chunck taken out of the bead area as long as the reinforcing isn't damaged at all and the tire holds air you should be fine.
