Just to ask a question, if he protuned the car with greater than 93octane gas? Wouldnt he be able to tune a higher peak? Not that 334 on a vf39 is a reasonable. I am only getting 312 on my vf43.

Its insurance against running hot from 18.5psi from a TD04 here is AZ. Our 91 Octane piss gas is not boost freindly.

So turn the boost down and make more power. I made 250/305 on my TD04 at 16.5psi and 11:1 a/f.

NICE!!! I'm glad you like your setup, but the difference between 240 and 250 hp, and 292 and 305 tq could be in the dyno or weather, or altitude, or fuel. My wagon is running strong and she is backed by a tuner I trust. Its all good.

Yeah, there are lots of ways to get to a particular #. I wasn't trying to beat on your tune. I no longer have a TD04 anyway.

The inlet collapsed near the end of the pull and I've since replaced the cold air intake with a short ram and it's no longer collapsing. Going to go back to the dyno and do a methanol injection tune with hopes of well over 400whp.

I could only boost up to 18 psi because the damn cheapo turbo inlet I had kept collapsing. as if on cue at 6300 it would suck down and boost would drop like a rock. I am gonna get an aps inlet and go back for a tune. I have read that stock wrx's dyno at around 140-150 on that dyno so I don't feel too bad.

Try replacing your intake before you replace the inlet. I had the same problem and switched to a short ram and now I can run 25psi without collapsing on my Dominator 3.
