He did make me think about it. Wax makes a car a little faster so a slick wing I assume would make it a tiny bit faster?
Ya, but you also have to take into consideration the added weight of the wax.

....lol how much wax do you use? I'm not saying it doesn't weigh anything but you would think it would be negligible.

This probably isn't that funny of a story but it 100% blew my mind. I went to the local dealership to ask about the plastic cover to go the recline lever on my passenger seat, they told me $50 for the Piece of freakin' plastic... needless to say i said thank you but no thank you and left

Hasn't anyone seen Mythbusters!?

They did a myth similar to this. They wanted to see if a dirty car was more fuel efficient than a clean car (same laws and rules apply as speed). The dirty car was worse because of the drag created by the dirt. Then they covered the car in golf ball like dimples and the numbers KILLED the clean and dirty car.

They either last forever or get totaled with nothing salvageable.

true story, the car got covered in clay and huge golf ball like dimples and it got better milage than the car that didn't have any clay at all (no added weight)

I did a science project with a clean car vs. a dimpled car once... the results were that the dimpled car was 24% more efficient!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I THINK it was Mercedes, they put dimples on the flat bottom of one of their cars to create better downforce.
