It's about done now. Just needs a little welding. I was the guy PMing you a few months ago about tuning because I'm still planning on supercharging, so let me know what you can do. What kind of standalone are you good with? Also, I will probably drive up there in a month or so so you know I'm not bull****ting.

@thenewthatguy: might be the best to meet here at the shop and to see what you did and what we have to make it big(ger)

Okay, but no funny business! I will never turbo this Subaru! A charger is the only option for this engine.

Oh yeah and I'm down with the Stelvio once I get running....and after the ring

So how exactly/ what do yall look for on the Ring's calender for an "open day". The 8-9th look to be bike infested. Is it the "tourist rides" that we go on?

If I can get my brakes ordered and installed quick enough, I might be able to make the 8th.

I got off the phone with Geoff @ Cygnus and got a package worked out:
-T2 street series rotors
-Project Mu B Force pads f/r
-Goodridge ss lines
-2 bottles of RBF600

for $930 shipped. I have $700 waiting and I'm getting my clothing allowance in this next check but...I don't know even if they get here within a week if I'll have time to install everything. With my luck, I'll break a caliper bolt *knocks on wood* and be screwed.

When you have mechanic skills like mine available the only thing you'll break is records for fastest install...

Already heli-coiled mine. Wasn't too bad. Might as well bite the bullet and get it out of the way while you're in there.

The only real heat cycling I've done was one lap on the Ring. I'm hoping it wont be bad and have any bolts fused.

Subaru clutches are fun. Make sure you reassemble with shift fork already installed. Works easier and saves you loads of time rather than doing the old fishing around method

No worries, the guys at DC will take care of that. I got the EXEDY HD stg1. But it needs 600 miles no autobahn brake in.

I put the same clutch in mine and added a lightweight flywheel. Pretty decent upgrade over OEM. Why don't you want to do it yourself?

I wish I could've afford the flywheel too. Lately I haven't got the time to do anything. I have done everything on the car except the tune and now the clutch.

A lightweight shouldnt cost too much. Probably be able to get it for the cost of a shop replacing your clutch but I feel you on never having enough time to get the stuff done. Plus if your like me and its you DD then it sucks cause you don't want to be that guy bumming rides till you get yours done

What's going on at Spa? Totally in the dark, but I'd love to go back if they have track day and my car gets finished.

I totally forgot about German Race Wars on the 7-9th of Sept. I'm headed up on the 7th, camping over night to get my drink on and try to enjoy the night life then race on Saturday. I hope to break some hearts and run 11's. I'd hope for 11.5 but I heard since it's not a "track" its dookie. Anybody want to roll? Plus I don't have to be in a rush for my brakes for that event :P

Yep, I went to the Subaru trackday earlier this year at Spa. Are they doing another one this weekend? The website doesn't list anything, but maybe that's because I'm on my phone.
