Four more hours of PnP work on the header and uppipe. The end result is going to be freaking awesome. Still need to finish the uppipe, that will be tomorrow. Then it's on for polish. Time consuming for sure, doesn't help that I am a perfectionist.

Whoa. $1000! You have my attention. Who did you have before, and who do you have now?

switched from local Harleysville Mutual to Liberty Mutual. Liberty offers special rates for Subaru's.
i got all the same coverage as the plan i left as well as a few perks from Liberty.

pretty dang happy i made the switch.
this morning i got my VIN and ETA for my STi thats on order so that was what prompted the switch. wish i had looked into it and done it sooner.

Pulled off the exhaust (headers all the way back), rounded out the rear oxygen sensor in the process (FAIL), made a turbo blanket, and I'm about to wrap my TurboXS downpipe.

Tomorrow = goodbye to cats, hello stage 2.

Ross what did you make a turbo blanket from?

My flapper wheel died so I stopped but I did more of this today:

From this;

To this;

I have everything ported now, just need to finish sanding and polishing, looking a hell of a lot better imo.

Mercury-laced unicorn fur.

Or a Thermotec turbo blanket kit a la Unabomber's writeup, whichever you choose to believe.

Thats a pretty sexy porting job, by the way. And thats in no way a euphemism.
