Default Hella 500 wiring question

Hey Guys,

Are the Hella 500 fog lights supposed to have one or two wires coming from the lamps? I figured that there would be two, one for ground and one for power? But the ones I got have just one wire and I wanted to splice them into the factory wiring.

Any thoughts or has anyone done this?

Please let me know either here or pm.

Thanks!

two wires. open that up and you will usually see the other on in there. you will have a wire from the bulb and one from the base

S*^***37;, There is only the wire from the bulb in there. So if I need to fix this should I just solder a wire onto the base of the lamp surround for a ground?

I think I know which one you are talking about. It's a male end connector right? I can just put a femal blade connector on a wire and solder it in place. Just wanted to make sure that is what it was for.
