Unhappy New rims/tires, new twitches while driving

Hey guys. I just got some new wheels for my impreza from stock 16's to 17x8's with the STi tires, RE070. There are no bents on the rims either. And now with the setup, the steering wheel tilts/twitches as I drive slightly or over small bumps. Could this be an alignment problem? or what kind of issue could this be? TIA

This is normal. The sidewalls on those tires are very stiff and are going to follow grooves in the road and be affected by bumps much more so than the stock crap tires.

you should be glad you didn't get something with "square" edge like my Yoko AVS ES100. Sometimes i have problem keeping the car straight if the groves in the road are deep, it almost looks like im drunk driving

The tire design and tread pattern, the pressure. The feel will be a bit different when new wheels/tires. Yeah, square tread can wonder sometimes but it's oh so good off-road, instant bite. It's one thing I miss about having block style or even a ribbed type of tire. If you have the pressure quite high, it can make the tire run on its center making for a loose feeling steering wheel.
