Default Problem with radio reception

Please help....

Since I replaced the stock stereo with an after market one, the radio reception has been terrible. I can only get 2 of the 10 stations I used to. (the after market unit was already replaced for a different reason)

Did anyone else experienced this same problem (it's a 2004 WRX with a glass mounted antenna)

thank you

Are you aware that the glass antenna is amplified and must have power connected to operate? There are a bunch of threads on this very subject because this has become a common experience, do a search in this forum.

This is the thread you want:

Hint: when searching, if you don't get what you want at first, try again with the "slow search"; the faster searches leave out some results.
