head light dim for a sec when truning single on

Ok let me try to explain ,head light on and i driving, put my single light on ,but the head light would dim just for a sec and it dont do it all the time,i try doing it while the car is parked but it don,t do it I check fuse it good,so what you guys think it could be.

Clean the battery terminals....check the water in the battery if low add distilled water....tap water usually kills batteries quick.
