I live < 10 miles from there, P-rex on here lives 3 minutes down there street from the college!

Have a great time, and make sure to hit up the bars in downtown Amherst!

My wife went to UMASS Amherst too. I was up there almost every other weekend (and sometimes every weekend).

So much so, I got an honorary student certificate from there.

Ahh my old stomping ground. 5 blurry years spent there.

Along with Bueno, Antonios, I recommend the Hangar for some kickass wings and DP Dough for late night drunken face-stuffing. When I was there HObart was the best place to party - cheap keg parties and beer pong for all.

They opened up an Antonios in Providence on Thayer by Brown. So nice not to have to travel a couple hours for a fix.

There was also a DP Dough for a year or two by UMASS Dartmouth.. but they closed down last year.

The good thing about Bueno is the burrito is like the size of a football (slightly exaggerated maybe) for cheap $. Quality-wise I like Anna's in the Boston area much better.

Don't forget about the Hangar if you like boneless buffalo wings - they are awesome - best I've had anyways.
