Anyone have one they want to get rid of?

Yes, you can buy mine (but I'm sure shipping would kill you). I have an '05 turbo Baja with 7500 miles. I was gonna buy an aftermarket carbon fiber one for the Legacy, in case you were wondering what would interchange.

I don't believe the hood changed from 04 to 05.

Subaru Stars Hey Carbon Fiber

Is there a Carbon Fiber Hood I can fit on my 2005 Turbo Baja?
It turns out I need a new one....

SJBaja

Can I really fit a Lagacy Hood on there? That would be good news.

Think my Insurance will pay for Carbon Fiber?

I don't see why a legacy/outback hood would fit. They are built on the same frame and have, from what I can see the same front end. so go for it.

So I'm wondering if I could put a CF hood on a 2003 baja. I found a couple of sites that sell them, would think the 04 would fit the 03 as well. Here are a couple links i found:

http://www.importprecision.com/carbo...aru_legacy.htm

http://www.autotoyaz.com/20suleosthoc.html

Not sure if they are reliable venders though.

same front end in 03 as in 04 and 05 and 06, so why not. I just wouldn't want it myself because you would be taking a lot of crumple zone out of the mix w/out a metal hood. a lighter one would be definally worth it, maby a lighter alluminum or something. But CF has gotten the nick name of "gilatin hood" because they tend to either shatter or flight back through the windshield, gee where is your head when that happens. I know someone that was injured a lot worse because he had a CF hood on his mustang and was hit by a drunk driver head on when he was at a stop sign. The hood was suposed to be made with week points to cause it to fold in half, but that didn't happen. The hoot practically scalped him and gave him some really nasty cuts on his head. Just my .02 worth.
