Cool EJ253 MT Vs. Auto Heads

I'm replacing my passenger side head. I have a 2008 2.5i Impreza MT. Will an automatic head from any ej253 fit and all line up? Can I use 2009 etc or need to stick with my 2008? Thank you for the help.

You should be able to use any head from a 253, auto or manual.
