Oh and the damn paint shop is taking forever, looks like I won't have it back for another week or so... Starting to get really frustrated because I feel like it should be done by now.

That's ridiculous. Tell them to hurry the **** up, they said 2 weeks before. Not like they are doing a body off restoration

2 weeks def isn't enough to prep and paint a car. It's a lot more work than you think. My car spent over a month in the body shop when it got painted.

LMAO. Well I mean I'm not just winging it and going by when I think the car should be done. I am going off the paint guys word that it would be done by now.

I went there today and the new front bumper hasn't even been delivered yet, the new bumper support beam isn't prepped or installed, etc... It's just BS.

It seems like to me he is putting it on the back burner and doing other jobs before mine which is messed up if you ask me, I am a paying customer just like everyone else.

I am going to have a little over a week and half to get get the new fuel pump installed, all my gauges and pod (thanks Eli ) installed and working, plus I need to get my stage 2 tune on it (Khanh may need your help there with the ecu flash so I can pass inspection), and I will need to wash/wax and completely detail the interior, I just don't see it happening before WBM and I was excited to finally have a nice car I can enter into the show but I dunno if I'll enter it if it isn't done.

Can I use thread lock on the hood latch bolts on my carbon fiber hood? May be a dumb question but I can't find the answer online.

doesn't matter if the money comes from your wallet or a check via insurance man they should still be taking care of the customer.

When you get it back ill give you a hand with the other stuff to have it ready for WBM

Thanks man I would really appreciate that. I am clueless when it comes to wiring and stuff

I dropped off my CF Spoiler at the shop today, am going to bring my CF hood over sometime this week as well. He is going to put them on and give them a nice wax/buff before I pick it up.

Hah. nah, I meant last year. Car had no plates or ECU, and was pretty undrivable before I left the body shop the day I dropped it off, and until the day I picked it up.

I haven't picked any out yet. AeroCatch ones are just so freaking ugly... And the other ones I find just look cheap as hell.

It doesn't seem like the CF Aero Catch ones would be the same weave as the ViS weave ya kno? It'll stand out and look like crap. If I get reg black ones they stand out a ton too.
