Default Good camping spots?

So the gf and I are potentially going camping tomorrow if we can find a nice, low populated area to pitch up a tent and start a camp fire for one night. I'm not really into the whole campsite idea, because the reason I want to go camping is to get away from everyone and everything, not to vacation on some temporary trailer park. I am in Issaquah, and I would say a 5 hour driving radius in any direction is cool, as long as it is a nice site. Oh and we don't mind hiking in, as long as it isn't anything treacherous. Thanks for the input if any of you guys know of some good, not too well known spots.

Baker national park, i saw a bear up there a month ago and signs of lots of other life. Very few camp sites where we were and they looked very unused.

I called the WA national park office last week and they said there are NO spots available. That pretty much spoiled my plans but oh well...it's still fun here. But Potholes Res. state park is an excellent spot. One of my favorites! CHeck it out sometime.

Don't bother with a campsite, real campsites are gross.

Its a long drive, but TOTALLY worth it... to Second Beach near LaPush on the coast. You hike down (very short, like 1 mile tops) to the beach and can camp in little open areas in the woods, or right on the beach! I like to make a fort out of driftwood, and sleep in that! Its SOO beautiful out there!
