Default Rattle when accelerating in 2nd and 3rd gear 2016 sti

So Iíve had this issue for a while now but it started as a sort of metallic squeak when accelerating in second and third for about a split second. Itís a sound I can only hear when I have my window down and Iím driving next to a curb or wall.

I recently had a dealer dent my oil filter and leaked most of my oil out while on a drive. They took it back put a new filter and oil and ran it and said everythingís fine. They also tried to deny they had anything to do with it but thatís a different story.

Well today Iím accelerating at about 2800 rpm in third and it sounds like someoneís shaking a can of marbles under my car. I have no performance issues and the car doesnít rattle at idle or any of the other gears. Itís not a rhythmic noise. Seems to go away at higher rpms. Any ideas what this could be?

header heat shields most likely, it happened on my 2011. I took some exhaust header wrap and put it around the loose parts of the heat shield to stop the rattle.

Perhaps the techs at the dealership went for a joy-ride and bottomed-out the car a bit more than just puncturing the oil-filter?

Maybe take the car to an independent shop that is familiar with this type of vehicle and have it inspected for damage?

Also, how much oil 'leaked' out?

Idiots.
