Hams, marshals, and control volunteers still needed in many scenic spots.

Course cars and stage captains needed too. It's a good time to grab a stage captain spot to qualify yourself for a course car position.

Cheers,
Anders

Come out and play with us in WV!

It's about 4.5 hours from my house in Silver Spring, MD to Snowshoe Resort (even closer for you noVA guys)...

That number gets smaller every time you ask

Edit: I'll be there as a volunteer.

The last year they held the event, one podunk town on the way home set up a roadblock for me because someone must have reported speeding. Luckily for me, they were a minute too late.

Location: Snowshoe Ski Resort, West Virginia
Volunteer sign up: clicky-this-linky

This is the return of stage rally to West Virginia! After a two year absence, it's back! Don't miss it! STis, EVOs, 2WD out the wazoo... and those nutter motorcycles!

Are there spectator areas? Yes. Are they limited? Yes. Can you be at other much cooler spots by volunteering? YES! Do you get to drive on the stage roads as a volunteer? Oh heck yeah!

So who's going???

Im already signed up to volunteer, but I've been thinking maybe it's time to step up to a big boy job and volunteer to be stage captain... Especially if it furthers your chances to drive a course opening car

Well, you could be a spectator marshall which means you go to a spectator point and make sure no one walks out onto the road...

Or you could work at a stage start or finish doing timing, or a time control checking cars in on time.

We survived NEFR, so we're now full speed ahead on the re-prep for Rally WV!

It should be a great time, hope to see a ton of you there.
