Thanks.

So recently I've noticed the brakes getting a bit spongy. A bit too early to do pads I thought. During the last service, I checked out the brakes while doing the tire rotation and the pads were fine, but the 18 year old rubber lines looked to be the culprit. So I put in an order for Project μ stainless lines. They should be by the end of the month. But the fluid and bleeder tool will here this evening.

The wife couldn't complain about car parts because it's safety related, so I figured while I have her good graces I'll sneak in a bit of an upgrade and replace the brake fluid.

The brake lines arrived much earlier than expected
Going to see if I can make time tomorrow to throw them on.

Yesterday I swapped out the old rubber brake hoses for the shiny new Project μ ones and replaced the old fluid while I was in there.

The pedal felt great on the drive to work this morning, so I guess I was able to get all the air out of system. It was my first time using a pneumatic brake bleeder, so I wasn't sure. But using one of those is the way to go.
