Oooh , id love to convert mine, that looks pretty good and I can’t stand ABS. I can pump my own brakes damnit. Gonna check out your IG. I’d have to get extra crafty with mine seeing my brake cylinder is right above my turbo ![]() |

![]() I've been AFK for a loooong time. But finally time for an update....
![]() I pieced together this kit over the last year or so, and it's nearly ready for paint or vinyl... not sure which direction to go yet. |

I went through 3 different fiberglass widebody kits, which all fit worse than a $2 suit, and now I'm biting the bullet and having my stock steel panels widened by a local shop. ABW kits fit like absolute garbage. Worse than any eBay kit I've ever seen. So bad that all the panels would have had to be cut, sectioned, reshaped... Almost easier to build one from scratch. Same with the Karlton's that Subyflares sells. The OG Karltons that Karlton Lew himself made were good, but those are impossible to find. The 3rd set I had were supposed to be Voltex, but I think I got scammed and they were probably knock-offs. They didn't fit at all. Other people that have gotten authentic Voltex have said they fit well. Those were only the rear section though as the Voltex front fenders are hawkeye only. |

Sad that things are that bad , I have a friend with the ABW 22b kit and he has spent so much time messing with it. |

![]() So far I have probably spent around.. five to six hours thus far on just fixing mold problems with the widebody panels. I already know that once I mock-drill the fronts on, I'm going to have to trim the front bottom ridge to sit flush. Everything is CLOSE, but needs love.

![]() I like the wrc widebody look, but so many are way off from how prodrive did it, and it ends up looking weird. The ABW blobeye stuff for instance looks awful.
Rallytech sells new production wrc bumpers and fenders (and headlights, hoods, mirrors, etc), as far as I can tell WRC Spares is the only place to get correct s7-s9 rears though. They're both UK based though, so shipping big items is sure to be a nightmare |

![]() Should really do a build thread on here....this is the current state of my 02 Prodrive STi. Rusted out strut towers repaired and replacement sills from Subaru Dealer later, starting to get back together, lengthy process however ...
