Directional tires go front to back.

Aren't the sp sports bidirectional? I think it just has a dedicated outside and inside direction, not forward and backward. Been a while since I had them on so I can't remember.

They are asymmetrical so they have an outside and an inside. I typically do the first rotation cross, and front to back on the second rotation and repeat the pattern. It ensures the tire ends up on all the corners of the car at some point, and it gets the most even wear and usually the longest tire life.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the rotation should be you cross the rears to the fronts (ie rear left to front right) and then you put the fronts to the back on the same side. This ensures every tire is on every corner sometime.

Email Dunlop and find out what they recommend for that tire/car.

I just go with what's in our manual (11-29) which is the same as the x-pattern on that Tirerack page for non directional tires.

If the tire is directional there's usually an arrow with the word "rotation" nearby on the sidewall in which case you just do front to back and back to front but keep the tires on the same side of the car. This method is also in our manual, same page as above.

Yea and even after 26752578 threads about it I still dont use it. Maybe I am just missing something.

OP as others stated if you have a "rotation" arrow on the tires they go front to back, otherwise use the X cross method for rotating tires
