Default Chain steering wheel from scratch

I've been wanting to do this for years and finally got around to making a chain steering wheel with the help of my good friend Joe. Started with 4ft of chain from Lowe's. @forester_gumpp on Instagram for more fun stuff.

Then I got it laid out how I wanted it and decided how many links it needed to be.

Next I needed to design the middle piece in cad. This took a decent amount of time because I wanted each spoke of the steering wheel to line up in the middle of a link. I also had to figure out angles and make sure everything still lined up after being bent

Forget to document the bending process but it was tedious. Spent a good amount of time making sure all the bends were the same and also had to make sure it was level all the way around

Yup. I like that. I could'nt watch the whole video I skipped to the end to see the end product. I will watch the video later though. The wheel looks tough as nails!

Thank you, feel free to subscribe. I was just trying to make a video of the few videos I managed to record on my GoPro that I got after actually making it.
