As a source for info, you need to be really careful to who you tell information to... Maybe they know their outlets? One would be a braggart about it and may let it slip who their source was, when they heard it, and their sources sources, all in the quest to prove everyone else wrong... so you tell them nothing, or fake/false/misleading info (only to be proven right that they would use it to prove everyone else wrong about something over and over again, online) - the other would take it to their grave with nary a slip up, and just put the info out there, nothing to 'prove'.

Most people leak info to a news source. Like the leaked product timeline from a bit ago. I don't see the point in leaking anything on NASIOC.

Why should Subaru care about a leak of a car they killed nearly 6 months ago? A car they admitted was in development, admitted existed to corporate from the leaked timeline, and admitted the reason they had to kill it months before heading to production.
So just how cool was it to not meet their CAFE targets in a few years. |

just stop. look at it a different way. there are absolutely zero number of people who are saying "SoDealer, please keep refuting Rally 4". and pretty much everyone is saying "SoDealer, ****". so take a deep breath, and a step back. I get it, you want to say your peace, you've done that, everyone is better for you having warned us of any impending doom of believing what Rally 4 is saying. anything beyond that warning? it adds no value. again, just stop. leave this thread and pretend it doesn't exist. |

"Keep it under wraps guys. We need to protect an irrelevant secret because we forgot to make all the SGP cars have a hybrid trim."

Between e-boxers and phev crosstreks, they've done 2 out of three. If mpg is considered, they've done one well, one poorly, and seemed to have abandoned plans for the latter.

They didn't do well enough to meet the targets and give us an STI. I can't go buy a base Impreza or Forester or Legacy with a hybrid like every other car in their respective segments.
I'd say they failed years ago to deliver what the platform was intended to do. I'm wondering what made them think an STI was even feasible after the EJ died? |

I've been waiting for the e-Boxer and CB18 (or even FB16DIT) engines to come stateside for a while now. Do Boxer motors really suck so much that North America won't give those engines the okay?

Denying that SOA employees saw the STI in person before it was cancelled is ridiculous. |

A guy I know in Cali just got one a few weeks ago and got something like $1300 off without even trying hard. They ain’t moving well at all. His area of Cali is $$$ too and a very non-consumer friendly car market. He had his choice of color and trim to boot.
They kept chasing that new money instead of concerning themselves with existing customers, a la 2014. Worked for them last gen but I guess the jig is up. Why would you lease one at these prices when you could just wait and see how much lower it goes? Maybe they’ll start throwing in toasters I mean flat screens with it, oh never mind. It already comes with one |

https://www.anchorsubaru.com/used-in...odometer%20asc Those are the used ones. They have 76 Used WRXs/STis, and they are (probably) asking MORE for them than the 6 new '22 WRXs they have on their lot. 2021 Subaru WRX LIMITED Sedan 1,611 Miles $59,995 (They didn't list it as an STi, which it is) They don't list the prices of the '22s they have "Check for availability" Scoundrels, nothing but utter scoundrels. |
