Default yellow Mustang convertable "m8"

So going down bell after work last week a older guy and his bish were in a yellow convertable 5th gen mustang with grey racing stripes. I noticed he had custom plates and a few decals I've never seen. It had a roll bar type thing like the late 90's S series shelby mustangs did. It was a GT with duel exhaust, yet it had a few decals I never heard of or seen.

If I remember right, on the fenders it said either "venomator M8" or something like that. His license plate referenced the M8 as well. It seemed to be a special edition/line of mustangs. It didnt seem to be any faster then a regular GT....just a few visual ad ons.

I cant find ish on this car. Anybody seen it or know about it?

PS i do hate mustangs....just to throw that out there

Sounds like someone got spanked like a redheaded step child

... there's about 348,432 Custom edition Mustangs, Ford and aftermarket. Good luck in your quest.

Im on a Mustang forum that I visit every so often. Ill ask them.

I personally like Mustangs and truthfully if my wife had bought a GT instead of her V6 I would have taken it and she would have bought the new car...

C-grunt that'd be cool if you could find something out. I wiki'd it and google searched but nothing came up. I know people have their own editions and what not if a company slaps on a supercharger then call it their own special name. This didnt seem like that in the end.

I dont see why some old doucher would throw on custom stickers that dont have any meaning or are a real company. Thats what confuzzled me.

funny thing was, when we stopped at the light i totally wanted to give him the "Gday m8!!" from dumb n dumber. classic. instead the light turned green and he tried to race me like every other mustang owner usually does.

The M8 Mustang is a special edition with a limited edition eight cylinder W engine like used in the VW, excepted it's mounted upside down.

you heard wrong... the 6's are garbage cars no better than a Cavalier
GT's still kind of suck (and I'm a mustang fan). Personally, it's all about the 32v DOHC Cobra engines. Termi = win!

Nope, totally serious. They also had to install the fuel pump in backwards because of the inverse-g syphon effect encountered when installing an engine upside down (sometimes referred to as an "engine swap"). Interesting fact: turning the radio knob in the M8 clockwise decreases the volume.

i heard it also has an oversized blinker fluid resevoir and ford will pay to sharpen your windshield wiper blades for free for a year.

Don't be silly... the M8 doesn't have blinkers. The M also stands for "Move-over!". They figure they've already warned you and blinkers would be redundant.

Be careful. You make want to get that sand in your ass cleared up. If left unchecked, in a few months each gain can grow into a pearl requiring painful surgery. Unless you actually like APeNIS (Anal Pearl Necklace Insertion Syndrome).

i seriously thought it was similar to the mythical lt4 beast that chevy made. what's an lt4 you ask? DOHC version of the pushrod lt1. I thought there might have been, at one time, someone who tried to build an upside down W engine. While the transfer of power would be a feat, sometimes you never know. I mean ****, there are engines that have spinning triangles in them .

btw, there is no sand in this mangina (or ass). I take nothing online to seriously.

WRONG! The LT4 was a LT1 with better heads, cam, and a few other misc items:

http://www.grandsportregistry.com/lt1vslt4.htm

You are thinking of the LT5, which was a DOHC V8 built by Mercury Marine for the ZR1 Corvette back in the early 90's. The old ZR1 was a badass car for the time BTW.

yes, I got the number mixed up. I had to look up pics of the LT5 to confirm that's the engine I've seen. Either way, there is one at the Pavs every now and then. Maybe I heard the guy incorrectly when I asked him about the DOHC but, I do remember him spouting off numbers that match your info as far as power.

I haven't heard mangina used in a while... now the wife if going to be fed up with me using it at every opportunity before the night is over... using the word that is, not my mangina.

Damn you, missed opportunity!... should have been "APeNIS (Anal Pearl Necklace Infection Syndrome) in your butt"
