What i'm trying to find out is where i need to hoook up the "speed pulse" for the nav to work correctly in my suby, also are there any other wires on this unit that need to be connected to any other designated spots like this one? any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Its at the ecu. It should be green/yellow or green/black. By the way, the navi should work without the speed sensor, it just won't be quite as accurate.

You're in luck. I just installed 2 of theese last week. One in my 05 STI and on in a friends 06 STI.

The speed pulse can also be T-tapped into the green/black(NOT light green) wire on the gauge cluster. If you want to watch dvds while driving then you need to ground the parking brake wire. There is also a reverse wire that you need to tap into the reverse light. I think the brown one coming from the reverse light.

As stated above, you dont need to connect any wires to the ecu. I have about 8k miles on my 5495, w/o the speed pulse, or reverse wire. Its within a few feet of being correct w/o the speed wire.

The reverse wire is just used to know when to activate the reverse camera.

Yes, I can put a dvd in, and it will play while im driving.

I just grounded the parking brake sense wire to the system ground.

The HD Nav is nice, because you can flip between the movie, and nav instantly.

The music juke i s a nice feature too (3000 songs on the hd).
