Pick AKMUNKIE's new car
So I now Kiwi is doing this also and he is getting some good feedback from everyone. So I thought I would do it so I am able to get your feedback also. Everyone on here seems extremely knowledgeable and respectable. So I would really appreciate it any feedback from you.
My family situation is that I have a fiance and will be getting married soon. I have a 16 month old son that I will be having part time also. This would be a personal vehicle and not used for work at all. My fiance and I have an active outdoor lifestyle that includes fishing, camping, snowboarding, down hill skiing, and cross country skiing. Budget is something I haven't decided on. With the possibility of buying a brand new vehicle I want to make sure it is exactly what I want, as I will be holding onto it for awhile. My vehicle history doesn't say much. I have never bought a brand new car. Used to have a 1992 legacy for a little while and before that I had a 1995 Geo Prizm. Prior to the prizm I had a 2001 Chevy 1500. I have always wanted a new vehicle but never purchased one. I have sold off a lot of things and now may be able to get one. The Subaru is a car I am extremely enthusiastic about. It has about everything I need and want in a vehicle. I put the other ones in the mix as they are a comparable vehicle. My sister has a CR-V and has been impressed with it. But then again she knows nothing about cars. And the Mazda I have in the mix as my best friend owns a Mazda and swears by it. Expectations of the vehicle are to get good gas mileage as I live in Eagle River and all things I do are mostly in Anchorage. Need cargo room for camping and grocery shopping or for hauling around items needed in the remodel of homes. So looking for some utility in it, but also want some sport to it. Don't want a wimpy vehicle with no get up and go. Hope that helps in this! Thank you!! Last edited by AKMUNKIE; 11-13-2012 at 04:04 PM. Reason: Chano'd |
