It would be interesting to see the front and rear bar specs for the STI. I would not be surprised if their rear bar is larger.

I know the Motortrend guys complained about moderate understeer with the 2015 WRX at the track, but said it was not an issue on canyon roads.

Congrats and good luck! Taking me a bit to get accustomed to it coming from my '11 hatch. But I like all the amenities going from a base to Limited. Something tells me that I should have splurged for the STi though but time will tell

I don't know if anyone has posted yet but can we add if the liscence plate delete and relocation kits will fit?

I want to order a relocation kit and the perrin delete plate that covers the factory holes before my plates get here.

Thanks!

I gots a question...

Is the 2015 WRX 6spd STi derived or all new? Wondering if it has the same power handling characterstics of the STi tranny. If not the same, maybe it's more stout than the 5spd from last year?

Factory Speaker depth limits for front & rear.

I already took the rear speakers out, working on installing a sub. I will try to get the answer to this tomorrow night.

Also interesting, it seems the fuel lines run from a grommet up by the brake booster through the firewall and along to door sill on the floor back to under the rear seat. That and the rear seat is really easy to take out.

Word of warning about the fog lights - Subaru is not using a traditional H16 bulb although they are labeled as such. They look like an H11 bulb to me.

I bought a set of H16 LEDs for my shiny new 2015 WRX and when I went to install them I found out they're completely wrong. To make things more fun they're a total pain to access since you have to come in through the fender well.

I did a quick bit of searching, and it looks like Subaru has done this "H16" trickery before so it's not entirely new, just wish I knew ahead of time. Hopefully I can help someone else avoid the same trouble.

I now have a set of H9 LEDs on order, in hopes that those fit using the old H9 / H11 conversion trick. I'll report back if it works.

Has anyone purchased the Subaru WRX / STI Rear Quarter Under Spoiler? Looks like it would help prevent rocks from flying up from the back tires. Aftermarket flaps would be cheaper, and of course, looks are subjective ...

Hey everyone! I have a quick question, and I figured this would be the best place to find an answer. First off, I just purchased my 2015 WRX Base Model last night, and I can't stop driving it!

Today, I went to fool around with the multi-function and multi-information displays. I was able to scroll through the multi-function options just fine, but I couldn't seem to figure out how to use the multi-information display on the dash next to the speedometer. How do you get the digital speedometer and other options to display? I tried using the arrow buttons on the steering wheel, but nothing seemed to change.

Thanks!

Did you check the owners manual?

There are three pull style levers on the bottom left behind the steering wheel that change the display. You have to pull the lever not push it.

I did. The way it was worded made it seem like the options could be selected simply by pressing the up and down arrows on the steering wheel next to the volume controls for the radio. Nothing happened when I tried this in my car.

It's the legacy 6 speed..forester XT hasn't had a manual option since 2008.

Obviously. I could push my '09 Rabbit into understeer easily on the street, 195s and FWD will do that. My point is that unless you're autoxing or something you don't need to give up any ride quality in the '15 WRX since the handling is so strong already.
