Not to back track this thread but I'm still not quite grasping the diferences between a radiator cap and a relief valve cap. The tank Moroso just released clearly uses a traditional spring style radiator cap with a pressure rating that is within spec according to the FSM. So I guess my question is, if the moroso radiator cap is operating under that same pressures at the oem relief cap what's the diference? What is one doing that the other can't?

See below. Something not noted here is that the pressure ratings of the two caps are different too.

I really dig this part. I think being able to mount bracket A or B for intake manifold, firewall, or strut tower location would be spectacular. Modular-ish.

It's a great looking part. I'm not even rotated, but would consider one of these in an effort to clean up my engine bay.

Can I buy the plastic piece you made?!? I don't want or need anymore metal in my engine bay to give off heat to my TMIC haha.

That was a 3d printed prototype. It can not be used.

Tank cap w/ears: 108 kPa (1.08 bar) (15.66 psi)
