Default HELP:Safe to autocross while breaking in my clutch?

The guys that put in my new wrx clutch said about 1000 miles to break in i have about 400, and theres an autocross tomorrow hat only comes every 6 monthes in my area, would it be safe to autocross just as long as i dont launch hard or anything?????

iv'e heard 500 for clutch break in... so drive a bit and go would be my theory.

If you have a very smooth driving technique (aka don't slip the clutch alot) you could get away with it. But if you don't rev match well, do abusive launches, I'd avoid it.

well the dealership that i go to installed it for free, under warranty.

Then don't be stupid and blow it out....you got lucky that you got it done free....I'd bet that that won't appen again.
