Default 07 Spec B

There is 1300 miles on the car, and the tune seems poor. Now that it is broken in, I drive more aggressively. Under hard acceleration, the engine hesitates and misses when the clutch engages and right after shifting under full throttle.

It happens when passing and freeway merging, not a good thing. Before anyone talkes about my driving skills, know that I traded a 04 STi for this car and I drive a 400hp 93 conversion track car. This is a Spec B problem and I am asking if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. I know there is a different ECU and maybe it is "learning" my style. Comments anyone?

Is the 07 the one with the SI drive? May be a problem with that.

I would take it to the dealer and have them take a look at it; there really isn't that much info on the SI drive cars yet (Cobb's still working on integrating it into their next AP release), so I don't think you'd get much personal experience yet.

Yeah, it has the SI drive. I think all the drive does is cause a faster throttle travel. If I turn it on, the car speeds up. As far as the dealer, they will give me the same story you do, that is "the car is so new we don't know." I want a little ammo before a wasted trip.

Appreciate your reply though.

www.legacygt.com ask them, they should be a better help than an impreza message board w/ a legacy section.
