TGV deletes, pistons, PPG's, Suspension...not in particularly in that order...but you should be straight after that. I probably wouldn't even go for a bigger turbo with the power you're making right now. Unless you wanted something that flowed more efficiently than the VF52...but I'd do that when/if the the current turbo dies.

FMIC, TGV deletes, injectors, Turbo (TD06 20G, HTA Green) + ewg

You're at the point where things start getting expensive. If you want the new turbo you have to do at least injectors/FMIC, and you might as well do the TGV deletes while you're there.

I know of someone who made 400 whp with his tgv so that doesn't seem like a major concern for me right now. I was recently looking at PPG (just to get a price idea) but I think if I ever get enough saved up to spend on them I would just wait for my stock trans to go out.

From some graphs I have seen I am making more power than some 18g's. The turbo I would want to go with would be the new Dom 2.5 XT-R but I wanna wait to see how it does because it has not even been tested yet.

As far as suspension I would like to have springs and sways unless I found a really good deal on used coilovers but I do not track the car so they would be a waste.

+1 For being at the point where things get expensive. I do not wanna go ewg because it is my daily and I do not like the noise when the ewg opens. I have looked into getting it so it goes back into the downpipe but then I would have to buy another new upipe and downpipe.

I want a Perrin Header but there expensive. Besides that the turbo I am looking into is the Dom 2.5 XT-R.

There is a guy who is building my dads 1990 GSX eclipse motor to be around 500 whp. He wants me to run a big turbo until my motor blows so he can do new pistons etc for cheap! Because I know most shops charge over 2k just to take the motor out of the car

If the car is your DD, then I'd look at working on your transmission or building your engine. More power at this point takes a BIG reliability hit. Not sure why you'd wait for anything to go out before you do something.

I personally wouldn't wait for my engine to blow before doing internals, reason being you might blow something that's even MORE expensive to replace than just pistons, rods, etc.

Can I ask...if you aren't going to track your car, then why're you building it (just trying to get an idea of what your goals for the car are)?

My next mods is going to be a new clutch to handle the extra torque. For reliability reasons I am more than likely going to keep my stock turbo. I do not see my motor blowing with the stock turbo at this power level. I know I am getting pretty close to be in the power range of blowing it though. I would only go to a Dom 2.5 XT-R if I could add new pistons rods etc at the same time.

PPG's are too expensive same with a 6 speed swap. Right now my car is pretty much where I would want it for my DD. I might eventually wanna add Injectors and equal length header. Because it is my DD I wanna get as much low end tq as I can. So I think if I get a new clutch that is capable of holding all the extra tq I should be ok.

As far as waiting for my motor to blow to build it is not a reality. As far as my motor mods I am pretty much finished because I wanna keep my car reliable for a DD. I will wanna add springs and a lip just to enhance my visual mods.

Sorry if there was any confusion, I would only wanna go bigger turbo and built motor once I had enough disposable income to do so and that is not in the near future haha. Power wise my car feels pretty good I like the low end grunt and I wanna eventually do some minor suspension mods to help dial it all in.

Where in SoCal are you redzfit?

I'd love to see/hear/experience your ride

In the process of ordering the AEM atm, just got my DP.

Hopefully with Xmas around the corner I'll get my fuel pump, then install and tune with Jon.

I agree about the PPG's and 6 Speed being expensive. You actually don't need the tranny upgrade at the power you're making right now, again, that's just my opinion. When/IF you go bigger with mods, that's when you'll need it. A new OEM/Stage 1 clutch should be good enough for your power, I myself am currently saving up for a new clutch, and I'm making similar power as you.

I have talked to a few people who are making 360 whp in their legacy gt and they said their transmissions are fine, I did not ask about their stock clutches. The only reason why my clutch started to slip is because I was doing some 0-60's haha. Chongl is making 370 whp on HB Speeds dyno and he has an 09 so I am curious to see how his trans holds up. I am hoping the car handle up to 370 whp

Are you usuing the stock flywheel? Also how does that clutch feel because Wednesday I sit in traffic for over an hour on the 57. Can you PM the price you paid plus install from HB??? The clutch is fine now I just will never launch my car again with the stock clutch.

I am no pro but I believe I am launching properly. I do not dump the clutch. What I do is I will rev up to like 3k-3.5k (while in 1st gear at a complete stop). I let the clutch out fast but I do not dump it. According to the AP my 60' were 2.0

My friend said because I made 3 attempts back to back to back is what was the most harmful. First 2 were fine with good results and the 3rd attempt is when the clutch slipped and I backed off.
