Had this show up in the shop today for a full strip down and cleaning. Beretta Model 935 Italian Police Edition .32 in just ridiculous condition.

Where are you finding this? I am checking that site over and over all day. I think I am going to write a screen scraper that will alert me when prices on the items I want are low enough and in stock.

Anyone in the Dallas area need some Aguila 60 grain Sniper Subsonic .22lr? Just got back from the range and neither of my rifles like it, and my handgun will eat anything so far, so no sense in wasting the good stuff.

I just check randomly. It was there all yesterday and last night. Ten cases of each. Stuff is selling whenever it comes in.

MidwayUSA also had BCGs in stock today for about two minutes. I somehow got one, since they limited them to one each. Also, more of my PMags are coming in from Magpul, which is great, since I've sold all my others.

Ya, I just got some speer lawman 9mm this morning. $237 for 500. The mornings seem to be the best time to check.

Definitely. Because now they have eight cases of American Eagle for $450 in stock. And their Lake City 5.56 has dropped. It's only $950 for a thousand rounds, so it's come down $250 in a week.

Took the new walther PPQ out today. Man that thing shoots like a dream. Put about 200 rounds thru her and she made me look good. I actually looked like I knew what I was doing. I let me aunt shoot it and it made her look good. She liked it so much she is going to buy one, and she's not one to spend that much on a gun.

Someone used prohibited tracer rounds.

That is literally across the street from where I work. Crazy.

^ What he said. One of my customers was there when the fire started. He told me it went from nothing to inferno in about three minutes.

Just picked up (ok, was issued) a 92FS before flying into Afghanistan
Actually looked to be in pretty good shape from the quick look I got at it before packing it up.

Buddy of mine was teaching a CHL class when it happened, he got out ok too.

It's not the first time tracer rounds have been shot by a moron there. He told me someone emptied a full mags worth just a couple of weeks ago, nearly caught on fire then too.

Sucks though, hope they had insurance on inventory.

Of course they did. Their business insurance should cover everything on the premises. At least mine does, and mine is the supercheap kind.

Do they have a waiver/rules sheet you have to sign like most ranges? Did that include the prohibition of tracer ammunition? If so then I hope the business sues the guy that started the fire into oblivion. I'm sick of seeing consumers putting frivolous lawsuits against businesses and would love to see a business giving it to an idiot consumer for once.

You sign the range rules and a sheet testifying to your skill and mental health status.

..Didn't stop a guy from blowing his head off with a rental down there though.

I guess most people don't read it, but yeah, it amazes me the stupid crap people do with guns in close proximity to others sometimes.

Threw together my AR pistol today. This one is mine, but it's a spec build for one of my security contractor clients to give as a duty PDW for their officers.

Did you get your Class 3 back or is that not considered a SBR?

It's a pistol (no buttstock), thus not an SBR, since it's not a Rifle.

...or a loophole as it's also known.

That being said, from what I understand, getting a Class 3 license isn't too hard?

Not an SBR. It's on a pistol buffer tube, and you can't attach a rifle stock to it. If it were on a standard rifle lower with a fixed or adjustable stock, then it would be an SBR and require paperwork.

Any stripped lower can be turned into a pistol lower, as long as it hasn't been built out as a rifle previously. As soon as you throw a rifle stock/buffer tube on it, it's a rifle forever.

It isn't hard. It's expensive and a pain in the ass, and that's why I elected not to do it yet. Not worth the hassle, even with my current increased volume. I'm not willing to deal with the hassle of the paperwork.

Heard more from my buddy, he sent me a picture of the ammo taken off the shooter.

.308 tracer rounds, my friend made it out ok, but he's having issues because of smoke inhalation.

The website said their range is up to 25 yards. I could maybe see .223 at that distance, but a .308? And with tracers they'd barely have time to light up so why waste them?
