I agree with you and thanks for your input. I remember a thread about this on Bobistheoilguy but forget the overall conclusion ( check there if this topic interests you ) , I think the minor, if any benefits outweigh possible detriments to things like catalytic converter over long periods of time. I've used marvel mystery oil and just decided why not use better gas from the get go. The old girl seems to like 89 gas these days and Berryman B12 Chemtool once and oil change ( looks like sea foam ) $3.xx at Wally World. As far as lubrication marvel mystery oil would be a product that should give similar results since it's mostly mineral oil., I use it in my lawn equipment and snow blowers to lessen smoke and smooth idle.
