Default Non-OEM JDM Rear spats/aprons

I'm thinking about getting some rear spats for my STI but I want to know if its worth the $399 for the OEM JDM Rear Spats or if the JDM Style Rear spats over at Gruppe-S prepainted for $229 is practically the same. Anyone actually purchase the copy?

If you can't really tell the difference, I'd much rather save the $170 for something else.

I have non OEM ones but not the gruppe-s ones (i have the seibon). They have chipped and kind of suck. The hardware they came with sucked, and they don't even stick to the back of the bumper right (i have to fiddle more with double sided tape but they just don't curve enough. If i were to do it again i might just purchase the oem ones knowing that it wouldn't have been such a hassle. But with some elbow grease and a proper trip to the hardware store they will fit alright, but don't expect it to look 100% oem...

I am also interested. I was thinking of getting the same ones from the same vendor but was scared that the fitment would not be good.

Hello, I am a new member of this community and due to the fact that at the moment I am not allowed to create a new thread, I decided to use these older one for my purpose.

I am thinking about buying a set of genuine or replica JDM rear spats for my Hawkeye STI. Is there still any available shop who sells the genuine made by Subaru ones?

There are a lot of offered replica ones. Especially made of polyurethane but there aren't a lot of positive feedbacks to find. In addition to this, all offered ones seem to be manufactured in the same factory.

Are there any well manufactured replicas?

Many thanks in advance.

I tried to search some offers with the partnumber E5617FE200 but I just found some old offers on asian auction plattforms. It is not that easy to find genuine ones a totalled car is no solution for my search. At first I was also looking for S-Craft ones but there is no chance to find a vendor who sells them international.
