Wow! That was some carnage! I think we'll get a guide just for safe measures.

The new engine has an automatic water jacket under the intake...it looks like the inlet angle is a little different. Do we need to replace it with the one off the old engine or is there a new upper rad hose we can get to fit?

I really think you should swap to the correct coolant pipe that sits between the block and intake manifold. Any hose you could make fit would have a terrible bend back towards the middle of the radiator.

You might as well make it right while you have things apart.

Swap the water pipe from your original motor.

if anyone needs any info at all about these swaps message me here or my cell phone 812-821-6033. I done mine and two of my buddies all running great. If you got the automatic which Iím sure you all have you need to change the rear timing covers with the timing belt guides there as well. As the automatics didnít have them

Default JDM EJ205 to JDM ej206

I have a JDM ej205 and I just got a new motor but itís a EJ206 twin turbo ( came from a automatic car - jdm depo guy) from what I was told and seen is that you can strip the ej206 down to long block and swap all my parts from ej205 thatís currently in my car ( intake manifold , turbo ) etc , I just want to make sure before I rip this biiichhh apart , also what exactly do I need because the ej206 came from a automatic but i have a Manual wrx...I want this motor done nice 100%, planing to push 300+
