Default Anyone here put HID's on their 2004+ WRX? Need some input

I put the 2004 STI front end on my car but I dont have headlights yet. I am having a hard time finding lights. Has anyone put HID's on there 2004 WRX headlights. I heard that it doesnt work very well due to the internal reflectors. Is this valid. Please give me your info. If they do suck, I will just get the STI lights. Thanks

Take a look in the Electrical forum, there are a few threads on this topic. The consensus on this seems to be that HID retrofits in the 04 reflector lights don't work very well and will produce glare and poor lighting. Several people who tried this did eventually give up and install the STi lights, so you'd be better off just doing that from the start and saving yourself some headaches.

I will probably just get the STI headlights. I love having good factory stuff.
