We are going to put significant miles on the kit before we release anything.

I would REALLY like to do a track event as well and I may insist on that. I did run this same basic kit on my C5 on track and the results were as expected but I am not 100% set with that. I can't sell a 'track' kit that has not been 'tracked'.

PS
That all might be slang for "I've been busy as hell doing a bunch of other things."

Agreed. If it's a track kit that's never been on the track then it's not legitimate. It's track-inspired or some watered down marketing term like that.

Hey, if you haven't got the time you can always send the kit to me for some testing

I've got my eyes on a couple nice events coming up in then next month at Blackhawk Farms and Road America that would make for great tests

Sounds like a good plan to me!

I sent the kit to an owner up in New England who has a 2015 WRX for some track days.

Install went fine but he lacked the very firm pedal I had on my STI. He has sliding rear calipers though and I believe the STI booster and master may be different.

A rebleed helped but the somewhat non-aggressive street pads are not great.

I have not heard track feedback yet.

Looks like the master cylinder is the same, but the boosters are different:

I'll be running them in the Subaru Shootout HPDE next Friday

Before then, giving the full system another bleed when I swap to track friction.

Looking forward to it

I was using the 2015 since that's the year of the car being used for testing.

Are pics and details allowed?

If not, looking forward to the write-up afterward!

It looks just like KNS's pictures, but with my Mach V Awesome wheels, cause it's the same parts

Just talking to a guy parting out a 16 STi, who might be willing part with their booster for a reasonable fee

Interested to hear if the booster makes any difference in the pedal feel.
And for the post track day report. Have fun out there!

@KNS, so it looks like the kit is now "track-tested." Any thoughts or recommendations for the rear?
