On-going intake manifold project -- shaved it down -- custom metal flake paint, clear coat going on next! I used some of the specialized G2 high temp paint for this, and added metal flake along the way.. amazed that it looks like it was actually powdercoated.

Any other custom intake manifolds in here?

Project GOLD completed over the weekend. Nothing aside from cloudy phone pics since Tropical Storm Alberto ruined the weather since late last week.

Very happy how they came out! Big thanks to GrimmSpeed for making the replica OEM BBS STI gold paint!

Scuffed down with lots of Steel wool and ScotchBrite.

Also did custom carbon fiber center caps with matte black Subaru stars. (Hard to see, but I'll get better pics eventually)

No don’t do that! It means this thread gets pics of your amazing bugeye (usually) - always one of my favorite bugs

I actually just picked up a brand new in box authentic Prodrive lip from the UK. Obscenely rare now like a lot of the stuff you had. I got it at face from a dealer parts counter but the shipping... oh the shipping.

I’m on a kick of buying older parts I had on my bugeye at one point or another but sold or destroyed lately

^What's up John! Thanks brotha...def miss that car. So many sick bugeyes back in the day. All of them influenced what I did to mine. Yours (with the Mines + OEM wing), Sick EJ20, Infek, Kwinskii (Made me get 18X10 XD9s), D Money, KJGerz, Sleepy/Hashi/Wagon Mob, etc.

All my parts were from the forums (Besides wheels)...The selection of parts on this site was incredible back then.

Good to see there are still Prodrive lips out there...seems as though Z3RO has mine. Haha.

All nice bugs out here! What kind of lip set up is on the first bug? :0
and I really like the black banner/windshield decal. Does anyone know if that affects driving visibility? California sun is quite annoying here
