Default For all Cobb AP Stg 2 1/4 times owners

I was wondering what was everyone running at the 1/4 with their stg 2 AP? I ranat the track and it was 89% humid and best time i got was 14.2 with a 2.0 60ft....and 1/4 mile at 96.8 mph. is that right? I did a 13.9 on a 70% humidity with a 1.9 60ft and can't remember my trap speed. Can anyone help why I am not putting out at 13.4? .5 off my best time in the 1/4 not to mention i did a 14.5 with stock so why can't i get way lower with my stg 2? help plz.

Here was my very first time at the track running stage 2. Since then I've gone stage 4, and then back to stock. But a 13.2 on stage 2 is a pretty good time so I've seen across all the boards.

60' - 1.870
330- 5.543
1/8- 8.637
MPH- 79.83
1000- 11.255
1/4- 13.514
MPH- 100.04

This was my first time out. With a better launch and more optimal shift points Im sure I could get it down, especially with my trap speed.

I was also on a slipping clutch, so when i fix that i should hopefully pull off a better time.

The times listed on Cobbs site for their stages are pretty much a perfect run with that amount of power. Probably 1/10 or 1/20 people will actually run those times.

If your 60' was a 1.7 you would take 0.4 off your 1/4 mile time and be at 13.5.

Its just practice and driving. Either you abuse the shiite out of your car and try to get the launch and 1-2 shift down so you can reach the 13.4-13.5 or you just add some headers and get a protune.

i've run consistantly between 13.36 and 13.44 depending on the launch...then again, I did blow my 5spd on those runs i am curious to see how my 6 holds out now, but its been too damn hot

What you will learn is that every track is different. I have run anywhere from 13.8-14.5 with my old stage 2 setup at different tracks. A 13.9 at one track may be equal to a 13.4 at another. I have ever seen some that go downhill slightly.

Best time at Cobb Stage II with PDX Tuning map at Portland Int'l Raceway:
60' = 1.895
1/4 mile = [email protected]

Now PDX Pro-Tuned Stage IV with an FP18g and oh goodness she's faster! Can't wait to see what she traps at now!
